RECON works to Protect Endangered Harpy Eagles in Belize

This past April I made my 4th trip to Belize's Bladen Nature Reserve to participate in a program that began in 2005 to study migrant and resident bird populations. In addition, the project has expanded to focus on Harpy Eagles that are thought to inhabit the reserve. Bladen contains @98,000 acres of the most pristine rainforest in all of Belize. RECON works on Major Cave/Water Conservation Project in Mexico

I would like use this blog to share with you all how we are using the RECON to further conservation in Mexico. Hands free RECON in the field

I am new to Outdoor Rugged and wanted to begin to contribute some of my experiences in the field with the RECON and thought I would start with a new piece of gear that I recently field tested and found quite useful. I own a RECON 400 mhz which I purchased in 2005 to help me locate remote jungle sinkholes and aid in data collection for a wide variety of scientific disciplines.
